Week 6: What We’ll Learn

This is what we plan to learn this week.

Reading:  We will hopefully start our “Book Clubs” this week.  Our Comprehension Strategy this week is Summarizing.

Writing:  We will organize our Writing Notebooks and begin learning how to discover and develop new ideas for writing.

Science:  We will use the Scientific Method to prove what plants truly need for survival, discover how pollination works,  create models of plants that show how water moves through it, and describe what the major parts of a plant do for it.

Math:
Monday:  Lesson 2-2 Extensions of Addition and Subtraction Facts.
Tuesday:  Lesson 2-3 “What’s My Rule”
Thursday: Lesson 2-4 Parts-and-Total Number Stories

Monday:  Home Link 2-2

Tuesday:  Home Link 2-3

Wednesday:  Write Week 6 Spelling words 5x each (because of Early Out day)

Thursday: Home Link 2-4

Friday, Saturday, Sunday:  Bring back survey completed
