Gotta Keep Reading

Our 3rd graders did a great job performing for our Winter Arts Festival.  They ended the performance with our theme song for this year Gotta Keep Reading.  It is a remix of the song by the Black-Eyed Peas‘ song I Got a Feeling first performed by students at Ocoee Middle School in LA.  It became in internet sensation.  Here it is.

Reward Party

The class has earned a reward party Friday afternoon.  We were going to talk today about what kind of party they wanted to have, but it turned out to be a snow day.  So, we will just have a movie party this time.  Students can bring rated G movies or PG movies that do not have inappropriate language (which is rare).  We will vote and watch watch the top pick.

Speaking of movies don’t forget the 1st grade is a hosting a Family Movie Night Friday night.  They will have snacks at 6:00 since food or drinks aren’t allowed in the auditorium.  I think the movie is at 6:30.  The movie will be

3rd grade will be hosting the Family Library Night next month.
