About Mr. Sigler

I have been teaching for 13 years. This will be my 10th year teaching in Carl Junction. My wife, Kimra, works at Freeman Hospital as a Pediatrician. You might know her as “Dr. Ross.” We have 2 beautiful children.

I like playing with my children, reading (and listening) to books, listening to podcasts, reading blogs, watching movies, playing with about anything electronic, playing guitar, woodworking, and working outside.

I am the president of the Carl Junction Teachers Association and Vice President of the Southwest Region Missouri State Teachers Association. I serve on the MSTA State Membership Committee.

I graduated in 2007 from Pittsburg State University with a Master of Science in Education Leadership.

I graduated from Missouri Southern State College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Education in English.  I received by certification in Elementary Education in 1999.

I graduated from Ozark Christian College in 1990 with a Certificate in Ministry.

I have taught 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. I love teaching 3rd grade, and I look forward to teaching your child this year.

    Hi Mr. Sigler!
I’m a student at Grand Valley State University and am taking a Ed Tech class this semester. We are learning about blogs and how to use them this week. I just wanted to let you know that I think your blog is really great! I like how you set it up so parents can keep track of what’s going on and learn about you as a teacher. Looking through your blog gave me some good ideas to use for mine now, and for when I teach in the future. So thank you for the creative ideas and I can tell you have a really cool class of kids.
