Did you enjoy your week off from school. We will come back just in time for our Reindeer Games Assembly and Christmas party on Friday. We will have to see what adjustments we will need to make because of our 3 days off. We will not have a spelling test this week, so we will postpone the Week 16 words until we get back.
I will be sending home an adoption letter for our class animals. We have
been studying Millipedes and African Dwarf Frogs. We will be done with them soon and needs homes for them. If you are willing to adopt a couple or the Fiddler
Crabs we will have soon, please sign the permission form and send the slip back.

You can also play a game to practice the words.
1. anywhere
2. everyone
3. something
4. broken
5. frighten
6. unbeaten
During our Animal Studies kit, we will be observing 3 different animals. The first is Millipedes. They were the easiest to care for, since they will eat any plant matter. They are not picky eaters.

On election day, November 2, we held our own election at school. All the 2nd and 3rd graders voted. It was a great opportunity to practice early doing our patriotic duty…being a resposible citizen of the United States. We filled out registration cards and then voted at the polls pictured here. We were not a “Belleweather” school. John McCain/Sarah Palin.
